Cost to Serve reduction 20%
This assignment involved a redesign of the Global Supply Chain (EU, UK, USA, AUS/NZ) to align the operations with a new business model that needed to pivot from a print distribution channel model to a new E Commerce D2C Omni-channel distribution channel model. A core project was the installation of a new Stock Management System as part of a modernization drive to move toward ERP systems and away from traditional manual systems that had become too cumbersome to manage inventory effectively.
A full review of all functional elements was required with several projects implemented for standardizing and formalizing the support architecture of all from Master Data, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP, Inventory Management and Control, Order Management, Regional 3PL Warehousing and Storage Service Provider rationalization, selection and appointment, Organizational Planning and Management Coaching.

This assignment required a review and redesign of the back end Supply Chain functions to formalize and standardize the operations. The group consisted of 8 individual companies that had been bought up as a mix of owned manufacturing plants and sourced suppliers, and now operated omni-channel sales under the same umbrella but with no formalized operating system. In conjunction with supporting the new ERP system, a Core/Context review led to a board approved project to outsource the warehousing operations and distribution functions.

The assignment was to support a niche supercar manufacturer's goal to increase production output by 100% by designing an inbound and Just In Sequence lineside material presentation solution.
D2C E-Commerce Start-up
A successful example of bootstrapping a business to success and profitability with scarce resources.

This business promoted Premium, Niche Sports apparel with Unique Selling Proposition selling through D2C E Commerce and Wholesale channels.
This was an exciting challenge that due to limited marketing budget, required out of the box thinking to get customers to experience the benefits of products.
A "Powerful Partners" campaign was created in conjunction with a large sports magazine and events company that brought the product direct to the consumer via pop-up shops and events marketing. Affiliate partnerships were created with key magazines to target specific customer groups.

This manufacturing plant was a successful family owned business purchased by a multi-national organization. The assignment was to integrate the operations into the new owners systems and to improve the productivity, reliability and quality of the plant output​

Once this was achieved, the unexpected economic recessionin 2009 radically reduced sales orders. A new Customer retention initiative was established to identify cost savings potential that could be passed on to the customers.
22% Supplier cost reduction was achieved and the model was rolled out to 50 manufacturing operations worldwide as the model for cost saving reporting.
